My pops needs help/ damn routine!!!

guys whats up...my dads killin me i need to give him some info...hes 52...about 220lbs and like six feet tall...what would you guys reccomend for him to loose about 15lbs...

im thinking of a high protein low fat,low cal diet....

having him do a lot of cardio prolly 4x a week and hit some lite weights....

i cant think of anything else maybe if you have anything or put anything good in i'd really appreciate it thankx...

fuck the cardio, if he is older it would be more beneficial to weightlift to add muscle and burn more fat in the process. Just have him watc h his diet. If you want have him do a 4 day a week conditioning routine. Mon Chest Back Shoulders, tues cardio, wens rest, thurs arms and legs traps, fri cardio sat+sun rest

lets get this straight, carbs arent the devil, excess calories are.

hehe.

just have him cut back some of the stuff he eats, eat more frequently but less calories. keep his metabolism quick (or get it up there).

some sort of quick paced weight training would be best. BFL as was mentioned before is not a bad idea. low volume, yet high intensity and keeps the heart rate up.
