OK, I get tired of just chocolate, strawberry, and vinalla shakes. So, I tried an Isopure Drink (Melon Apple I think) And liked it ok. But, I can not aaford to spend that much on a consistent basis. So, I decided to try to make my own. I have done 2 so far and really liked them both.
1) I used 1/2 gallon tupperware pitcher (with closing top so I could shake later if necessary) and added 6 scoops (Using electronic scales I determined my "scoop" was 22grams) or 132 grams of Ion Exchange Protein Isolate (From proteinfactory.com, plain, no sweetener) I then added 1 pouch of Wild Kiw Watermol Kool-Aid and 6 packets of Splenda. Shook it up and chilled in fridge. I was very impressed with what I made. Very easy to drink. It didn't turn out clear like isopure but it was good.
2) I also tried another using Kiwi Strawberry Crystal Lite. It was good (personally I like the kool-aid one better).
Neither one turned out clear even though the ratio of protein to water was the same as the isopure. I don't really care though, as long as I pit it in a container that I can shake later. I plan on trying different flavors to see which ones work well. I foresee using this a lot in the future.
-Hope this helps someone.
