My first Test cycle: Opinions?

Hi everyone! This is my first post so please bear with me if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

I'm 22 years old and have been training and dieting consistently for 5 years, I'm 5ft 10, 165lbs, approximately 9% bodyfat. I feel I'm very close to or may have even reached my maximum genetic potential, therefore I feel the time to try my first cycle has finally come.

During this cycle I plan on cutting and focusing on maximal fat loss while maintaining or possibly improving strength and muscle mass.

Now that we have everything else out of the way, let's get on with the cycle:

Weeks 1-8: 230mg Test Cypionate E4D (that's 400mg per week)

Post Cycle Therapy/Taper:
Week 1 - 100mg Test E
Week 2 - 90 mg Test E
Week 3 - 75mg Test E
Week 4 - 50mg Test E
Week 5 - 50mg Test E & 40mg/Nolva/Day
Week 6 - 25mg Test E & 30mg/Nolva/Day
Week 7 - 20mg/Nolva/Day
Week 8 - 10mg/Nolva/Day
(420mg test, 580mg Nolva)

As for Aromatase Inhibitors during the cycle, I've been hearing very mixed opinions. is it necessary for a simple cycle like this one?

So what are your thoughts on this cycle? Anything you would change?
 
Yeah, the taper. Shut down is shut down. I understand the concept of tapering, but its not gonna work how you think its gonna work. If I pin 40mg of test, not only is that not enough as far as what my body needs, but I've effectively shut it down from trying to make it's own. There's gonna be a low test period whatever way you do it, the taper is just extending the time until your body can start trying to make natty test again. I'd just end the cycle at full dose and start pct
 
First off at 22 years old 5'10, 165 pounds you are nowhere close to your genetic potential!!! Like not even relatively in the ball park

Second, you want to cut!?! From 165!? With a test only first cycle!?! What in the world are you trying to cut? Your skin and whatever muscle is underneath it!?!

Third, ditch the taper it's so old school and pointless, blast, stop, pct.

I feel like you need to re evaluate your goals and priorities before commencing with this cycle, sounds like a waste of a first run IMO

Sorry to be harsh man, but you are not in optimal condition to be needing anabolics to reach your goals at this time.

Spend another year lean bulking and training correct, you will be amazed at what the body can do naturally. I started my first run from 175 and came out about 12
Pounds heavier at the same bodyfat percent after pct... It was a mistake and I wish I had waited till I was closer
To 200 pounds natty to start gear. Would probably be 15 or 20 pounds heavier than I am now and just as lean had I waited.... Just my .02$
