My dog had Unprotected sex!

I wish she made the other dog wear a condom! Seriously, though one of my bitches has just been diagnosed with TVT. I spent 500 bucks this week at the Animal hospital, because the Vet thought she had Pyometra. In the middle of the surgery they had me go to one of the rooms. I thought she had died! But they told me she didnt have Pyometra but she had a tumor. So they cut part of it off and sent it out for tests. So now I'm looking at Thousands of bucks for treatment for her. It involves Chemo treatment. TVT is supposed to be 90% curable with this treatment. Normally, I wouldnt spend that much money for a dog. But this dog is a one of a kind type of dog, that I cant put down if there is a cure for her. Has anyone else had a dog with TVT? If so did you get them treatment, and did it work?

Bro, spend the money!! That dog will never be replaced. I have never heard of TVT. I have hadto put dogs down in the past. If you think divorce is bad.... Dont let that dog down! the cure rate sounds promising. If it were your child would you deny it this treatment? Circumstances may be different, but the responsibility is the same. I'm going to pony up the money for the treatment. I was just seeing if anyone else had a dog with TVT. If I wasnt I would send her to someone willing to pay for the treatment if I was not able to. She is a awesome dog!

Well let's see! Birthday! And smalls left, so I couldnt talk about implants and boobies Thought my dog had cancer and was going die, so I had to play lot's of tug a war with her at the dog park! And I discovered a new channel called "Spice" So I had to wanker for a hunk of cheese!

Well I just brought my dog Piggy back home from her first Chemo Treatment! They gave her all kinds of blood work tests and then injected her with the Vincristine Chemo! They told me they had to get a ton of people to hold her down just to get the Catheter in her! Sounds like my Piggy! Although she is the most friendly dog in the world, she is also the toughest when need be! Hopefully 4-6 weeks from now her tumor will be gone and I will be able to parade my Million dollar dog around! No pun intended!

Cool! Yea they are not cheap! Sometimes you can find rescue staffy's but it's hard though! People dont give them up usually unless they have some dramatic reason like money, death etc.

Piggy Update:

Piggies second chemo treatment went well! In fact her blood tests came back normal! So it looks like she is going to be ok! But she will have to have some more treatments just in case!
