my dog attacked my gfs panties!!!!!

i came home and changed and my dog followed me into the closet and grabbed a pair of her used panties and shook them like they were some cat that tried to steal her last milk bone!!! usually i let her lick my face when i get home (my dog not the gf) but today i had to pass for obvious reasons. Why do dogs do stuff like that?? I wonder if she could catch anything, i may have to take her to the vet or something
