My Carb Cycling Diet

SO I decided to give Carb cycling a try. I have never done this kind of diet before. Just a quick background. I compete in fitness model and figure shows. I am getting ready for a show this june. I started to diet on Monday. I have 10pds to loose. I work with a trainer and the diet I did last year with him worked. I told him that I wanted to learn more about my body and try something different. So he said no problem. This is my new diet breakdown.

Day 1 to 6
Macronutrient Ratio:
approximately 50% Protein, 35% Carbs, 15% Fat

My cals would be: 1713
145g c
218g p
29g f

Day 7
50% Increase in total daily Carbohydrate Intake
25% Increase in total daily Protein Intake
50% Increase in total daily Fat Intake

My cals would be: 2351
217.5 c
272.5 p
43.5 f

Also to note that on my workout days I will be using high gi for the post workout spike.

I will let everyone know how it goes. So far I have been very hungry. But that is because last week I was a piggy on vacation :) LOL

Looks really sensible. That low end carb number would still be more than sufficient to spare protein, and to keep away the munchies that tend to jeopardize diets. Considering the size of it, I'm guessing that protein number must be including incomplete proteins, like beans and such, correct?
 
The only snacks I have while dieting are sugar free jell-o and my diet hot chocolates made with tsp of cocoa and water, splenda, tbsp milk.

Yes I am counting all protein, but I am eating approx 14-17oz chicken a day + shakes.

Well, I am kind of an insomniac... well, actually a diagnosed insomniac.. so I don't really sleep the best.

But my energy levels have been good so far. I love the shirtaki noodles. They really help with hunger. I can't wait for saturday.. my carb up day! :)
 
SO another week and I lost 1.2 pds of fat. :)
I have about 7-8pds more to go for contest and 11 weeks.

My body usually looses about 1/2 pd a week so things will bottom out soon i am sure, but i am very happy with this diet.

That is freaking awesome man seriously so smart for staying so close to contest weight. I must must must learn from your great example takes a lot of the stress off when you have so little weight to lose.
