MTV is having show about steroids Thursday night. It will probably show only the negative side of it but should be entertaining.
 
MTV - True Life

If MTV has anything to do with "True Life" , then I am going to drop to my knees right now and start praying for the Angel of Mercy to come take me.............

This is what it is. They will follow around 3 asshats that look like they have never lifted before in their lives, let alone researched steroids, and basically its not going to go well and they will get all sorts of side effects because they dont know what the fuck they are doing. MTV has nothing to do with real life, if that were true they would have a fucking show about rich mother fucking kids who get everything they want including a beemer for their birthday, fuck that shit, fuck MTV, dont watch it.
 
i just want to watch it just to see how ignorant they are about AS. too bad i could be working and we don't have that channel on our tv...

I just watched "The Longest Yard" or whatever it's called. It's that stupid Sandler movie where he gets tossed in jail and forms a football team to play against the team of prison guards. Somewhere in the beginning of the movie, one of the guards "roid rages" during practice because someone drank all the Gatorade or some shit. Later in the movie, they switch his bottle of Stanozolol (which had a huge label that said Anabolic Steroids) with estrogen pills. Anyway, that movie was made by MTV so imagine what they think of steroids already.

yea I wouldn't watch it except for the fact that my girlfriend is dieng to watch it and im trying to get her to watch the HBO version first I emailed it to her like sgt said but she says "I haven't got time to watch videos so you dont look stupid" even though she is jumping on the bandwagon to watch this MTV shit poor girl is going to sit infront of MTV til she is 90 and believe every word they say heh...

he looks like an average guy... go look at Maks photo shoot pics if you want to know what a model looks like.. plus, they are showing way too much of the vitamin shop and the gym.. i wouldnt want to have a camera take my pic while i was at work shooting up a client.. especially when it says their in boca raton florida and they show most of the name of the store... DUMB

Yeah I feel bad for the baseball player. A sport where failing 7/10 times means your doing pretty good has many ups and downs. Gear got him to USC though.

The only person I have little respect for is "Zeus" b/c it looks like he is pretty dedicated at least.

This guy loves to give me advice and tell me about deca the best steroid because it increases muscle cells, fuses the protein to the blood, and all this other crap. And he wanted me to order his friend a cycle who is 5'11 320lbs about 40% bodyfat, and he needs 50ccs of test and 50ccs of deca because he is a BIG POWERFUL guy. They got all their knowledge from Flex Wheelers trainer, the 'Sandman'. Funny, Flex never mentions this guy anywhere, only Charles Glass. Oh well!

There's guys like this in real life, all over the place. I guess seeing it on tv is just shocking and an eye opener. Think about how many guys you see just like this at the gym alone, hell you probably even know one.
 
IM2manly, no joke, I was enjoying this in a sick friggin way. It's like Breaking Bonaduce or My Fair Braidy, you can't help but watch. Crap reality shows are my guilty pleasure. It's like Rocky 4, you know it's a joke, but you can't help but watch it if it's on.
 
Wow, typical MTV bullshit. The only legit guy that should have been documented was the first one. The fighter probably took a very low dose, and YMCA Rainbow boy should be slapped in the face a few times.

Pretty worthless, but I def. thought it would have been more anti-gear oriented with nothing but bashing.

I actually think something like this draws attention away from us. Everyone thinks steroids is about jacked up guys or powerlifters. Maybe now some people will see steroids aren't some magic thing that makes you Arnold or Ronnie overnight and that one actually needs proper nutrition, training and genetics. That one bloated kid that goes to Cliff has potential, but his muscle is all watery bloat. He needs to learn how to train and eat, not to mention stay away from Vitamin World clerk Cliff aka the EXPERT. He thinks he's Charles Glass or something.
 
I agree, but the unfortunate thing is that both guys you saw in the gym, (Fitness Boy, and Rusty Trombone) said that they gained "GODLY AMOUNTS of STRENGTH".

People watching this will most def. be drawn to that fact itself. The sad thing is, aside from Fitness Boy, they all had SHIT physiques. The limp wristed toolbox was on his THIRD cycle and he looked like fucking trash...if anything I hope that this will show people that its not all about the injections.

Well the steroids helped exacerbate his psychological problems. And yeah the 3rd guy was a total tool, but i think alot of people can relate to what he goes through....i mean he had his issues and im sure he researched it, but when ur researching ur only looking at the positives, ur not concerning yourself with pct. I know i used to just focus on being big and not the pct and crashed more than a few times.....This guy actually had the balls to put it all out there for the world to see...........Trust me we were all stupid about juice in the beginning..........And the first guy did get in a magazine which is more than i can say.

The fact is the parents dropped the ball as far as raising their kid goes. If they would've put as much effort into raising their kid as they do into their anti-roid crusade their son might still be alive?

Hate to say it, but one of the 3 guys (the model) "seemed" to actually go about things the "right" way. I'm no expert, but he was I believe actually under expert and medical supervision during his cycles.

Either way, you have to give MTV some kind of credit. Granted, thses guys might not have been as insightful as a bunch of you here---> but that sort of speaks for the mass majority. I believe the majority of AAS users have no real clue. What's wrong with MTV taking a stab of trying to kick these kids a little wisdom of what not to do?

Sorry bro-it's a combination of both nature and nurture. His psyche might be whacked genetically but we are all products of our environment whether we like it or not. Who's responsible for this guy being so flipped out over doing bad in school? He didn't just wake up one day and decide that getting c's was depressing. This shit was pounded up his ass by his parents that probably cared more about how perfect their kid looks on the outside than how he felt on the inside. By saying he had some deep rooted psych probs is ridiculous without wondering how he got them in the 1st place. The guy was 22-for 18 of those years his parents were responsible for feeding him, clothing him and providing a roof over his head with an emotionally stable environment.. Anything positive or negative that he picked up along the way to adulthood was in some way associated with his parents. These days nobody holds themselves accountable for anything. Victims of gun crimes blame guns. Victims of poverty blame George Bush. When someone's kids fuck up, they blame steroids and Marilyn Manson.

I didn't catch the whole show, only like the last 20 minutes and I wanted to drive to where ever that little queer was and beat the shit out of him. Rage my ass. She knows I what I do and how careful I am about it. She was even getting mad at how these type of shows make a bad name for the sauce.

Don't want to be too mean, but these bands are not METAL, they are glam rock.

Metal would include bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Pantera, Slayer etc....
 
The funny thing about watching that is it reminded me of all the morons at my gym. I'm surprised they didn't show the guys on the show going to McDonalds and crap like that!
There is only one other guy who knows his shit about AAS at the gym. He spends a lot of time on boards like this. Everyone else doesn't know shit and they think they are experts. They don't even know what HCG or Clomid is. When to use it or why to use it. They think being off is when you do your last shot of sust and don't start up again for a month!
I have a feeling the show wasn't too far off.
Guys like us that know our shit are smart. We have careers etc. We don't need that unwanted attention. We would rather be in the shadows, learn and be safe.
Sadly, I think the show was accurate for 90% of the AAS using population.
 
I only saw the last 1/2 hour by mistake...found it when channel surfing. What a joke! Most of the idiots they showed that used AAS didn't even look like they worked out at all let alone knew anything about steroids.

I knew this show would piss me off. MTV, like the rest of the media gets the most ignorant people on a subject & sensationalize everything. The only one that halfway did everything right was the model. His goals & results were very realistic, although I must say Mother Nature was not kind to him as far as bodybuilding genetics were concerned. I looked like he did when I was seventeen before I even touched the juice. He did make some pretty good changes though. The mixed martial arts guy, hmm … I wonder did he have fake gear? He did not make any changes at all that I could see. The interesting part to his story was that bitch of a girlfriend of his. I would have “roid raged “ on her because of her nagging, pushy, attitude. It was funny that she ragged him about his temper because of his steroid use as she initiated confrontations between them. She was obviously a self-centered albatross around his neck because he dumped her after the show.

What really bothered me the most about the special was the unfortunate story about the baseball player that committed suicide. Folks, stories like these are why the 1990 steroid control act was put in place. I know you should not speak ill of the dead but that fucking Lyle Alzado :mad: going on 20/20 (some of you kids probably don’t remember this) a long time ago when he contracted leukemia & blamed it on his steroid & growth hormone use. Not that long after President Clinton passed the steroid control act. He was violent & started fights constantly, & instead of attributing to the fact that he was an asshole to begin with, he blamed the roids for his behavior. I know I am rambling, but the point I am trying to make is that people do not want to take responsibility for their actions. They always want scapegoats. The baseball player’s parents said that their son would have been alive if were not for his steroid use. I feel their pain, but at the same time they piss me off because they will not accept the fact that their son had serious mental issues to begin with. If they did, they would be admitting that their child was flawed. I see it all of the time. I have a friend that told me that her son was juicing & his attitude was changed because of it. I later find out that the kid is only taking winny. Who roid rages on winny folks (lol)? These parents & the Lyle Alzados out there go to the media & the media hypes it all up, & the government takes it runs with it & the next thing you know you have a soccer player with a criminal record because he was caught with the bottle of Anavar that he was using to help his game. Don’t you just love America folks?

Sorry bro-it's a combination of both nature and nurture. His psyche might be whacked genetically but we are all products of our environment whether we like it or not. Who's responsible for this guy being so flipped out over doing bad in school? He didn't just wake up one day and decide that getting c's was depressing. This shit was pounded up his ass by his parents that probably cared more about how perfect their kid looks on the outside than how he felt on the inside. By saying he had some deep rooted psych probs is ridiculous without wondering how he got them in the 1st place. The guy was 22-for 18 of those years his parents were responsible for feeding him, clothing him and providing a roof over his head with an emotionally stable environment.. Anything positive or negative that he picked up along the way to adulthood was in some way associated with his parents. These days nobody holds themselves accountable for anything. Victims of gun crimes blame guns. Victims of poverty blame George Bush. When someone's kids fuck up, they blame steroids and Marilyn Manson.

I turned MTV on last night, but that "Next" show was on. Only it was a faggot cocksucker AIDS version... I almost puked and I shut the TV off....

So I missed the Steroids special. :rolleyes:
