Id really appreciate some input here Mr. X
i was going to post this on the diet discussion board, but i figured more people would be interested in it over here.
I think most people on this board know what the Glycemic Index is. I've searched through all the lists on this Mendosa. com site, and i just happened to look at this one last time i was there. Does anyone have any knowledge of the "insluin index" of foods and how it is different than the glycemic index. Just by looking at the chart on this page (the link is on the bottom of this post) It seems like it would be better to eat mashed potatos or jellybeans than to eat dextrose after working out if your goal is to spike insulin.
I jsut want to know what everyone thinks about this or if theyve ever studied it before.
