the notebook.

Before I even went into thread Notebook was the first one that came to mind. This was a movie that I had judge to be a crappy movie before renting it based on the cover. Turned out to be a very good movie.

lots of softies up in this place... and I'm not talking about aap's doll after a lonely winter night.

yes.

As Ray Porter watches Mirabelle walk away he feels a loss. How is it possible, he thinks, to miss a woman whom he kept at a distance so that when she was gone he would not miss her. Only then does he realize that wanting part of her and not all of her had hurt them both and how he cannot justify his actions except that... well... it was life.

The movie ended up hitting a real cord with me - I've been both Ray and Mirabelle to people, so it was bittersweet to watch it happen.

People think it is more painful being the "Mirabelle", and perhaps it is in the short term, but it the two years later when it slams you that you know the "Ray" is so much worse.

sorted in order of estrogen stimulation, decending:

The Notebook
City of Angels
The Lake House

These are all good movies.

I was surprised that Lake house was actually a decent movie, albeit a remake.

Oh I forgot about that one! Yes, City of Angels was also a good one. I am usually into horror or action packed movies...I am one of the few women that go for alot of those so called chick flicks.
