once you take off 2 weeks or more you will start to rapidly lose muscle conditioning which is okay. you will get it back once you come back.
not wanting to lose gains is not a good mentality to have. that is how guys end up with chronic injuries. when you gotta take time off, then take time off
It takes a lot longer than people think to lose muscle. 2 to 3 weeks to start losing strength. I take 9 days off completely every 4 months or so. It's good for the body when you push a lot of weight which I do
