Monster Shake, OK???

I was reading MD and Capriese Murray said that 3 meals of the day he makes a shake with Oatmeal, Whey, and Nuts...he calls it the "Monster Shake"
Between college, work, and just being tired as fuk from training, this would save me some time in the kitchen.
My question is, is it a good enough replacement for actual meals...I mean the carbs are a whole food, but the protein is just whey. Who thinks this can help..It actually tastes really good.. I used 50g choc. ON whey, 1/2 cup oats, and 1tbsp all natural PB.

I must applaud your dietary efforts as I too have to balance work, college and the gym.

If you have the disposable income, I would suggest you also buy a protein blend with longer acting proteins [casien, milk, egg, etc. (I am sure others on here are more knowledgable on this)] to use in your shakes.

Other than that, I don't see why using shakes would be a bad thing. Solid food is always the best, but you obviously a busy life that you have to work around.

What does your typical daily nutritional intake look like?

If you are interested in the shakes...Look through the threads on this forum and the Muscle food and you will find probably a dozen and probably more different recipes for your homemade shakes..
