I think my hips should start slightly higher.
Anyway I could barely lockout this weight for 1 rep months ago, today I did several sets, and a 2x2 which you see one of the sets above.

Workout went like this up to the PR

Rest - 2 mins - unless stated otherwise

1xPowerSnatch + Midthigh Hang PowerSnatch 115lbs
PowerSnatch 135lbs x 5 singles - 1min rest between each
PowerSnatch 135lbs 2x2 - NEW PR!
 
They both looked pretty solid to me...especially till I can do more than you on these (probably not for a while). I try them and I am afraid that I am going to take out half of the gym when I do them...lol...

Just a thought (and I am FAR from an expert) but maybe try starting with your hips farther back... I really don't know...

Watch the 2 reps in slow motion and focus on your butt/hipps. It seems that the 2nd one is more explosive and you threw your hips back more...maybe.

There is no such thing as a "minor" PR.

A PR is a PR. It is an awesome achievement even if you only go up one pound.

yeah, I could use a bit more snappiness.

Its because I'm jumping too much, instead of transfering the power to the bar. Can't help it though :)
But form looks much better than before

Polish - its a very complex lift, be careful. Keep the bar real close to the body, but be careful of your chin :)

Bfold - I don't think you need to do these for your goals. Probably take you a long time to master it. Hell I've been going for a year now, and still need some work :)

Fun lift though - there is this effortlessness when everything gels and sheer feeling of power! You can't muscle these up like power cleans though. Speed is very important.
 
Excellent lift CCJ. As always, i am impressed with how strait you are able to keep your back during movemnts such as this one and squats, etc....

Something for me to strive for :)
