We got NBA + NHL finals, World Cup and MLB to talk about...it's getting hot up in herrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I expect you guys to turn it up next Miami & Dallas game, don't fall for the traps!

Fucking George is trying to kill this forum. We all tried to keep the people with little k afloat so they could bet daily. Now GS pulls this shit. I think it sucks. I may have to reconsider my "all in" on Phillies games for the rest of the season.

i mean it is sooo much fun being in this forum, and if i didnt get hits from power hitters i wouldnt have anything to bet..........i doled out as much K as i could've and now this....

whatever, i wont let it spoil my time here, i'll still play and hit, but it doesnt cost me much, on the other hand other guys with bigger K power will take bigger loses......

anyway, i think the new system sucks, and not many people will benefit from it
 
I tried the casino. Everything seems to be broken and hangs with a message about transferring data.

What are the new stats requirements to have karma power again?

Here's another change that is probably going to be controversial, but will stop Karma Ponzi schemes and Karma Whoring. When you give someone Karma, you are giving them your own Karma, not minting more. Remember, since you get much more on Platinum Membership renewals and since it now costs much less if you buy it, this will be less of a sting. Non-Plats, would have 2 x Karmic Power subtracted from their total Karma Hits. Another thing to remember is that Plats can still hit for between 10% and 110% of Karmic Power, so if you are Plat, and you want to reward someone for a quality post, you can hit as little as 10% of your Karmic Power and won't feel a big dent in your war chest. Those with 0 Karmic Power would hit gray like they do now. This should also help us get back to hitting members only when they post something that is really quality. Things remain the same for Chairman Members including their hitting for 200% Karmic Power.

Everyone needs to be able to have fun with Karma immediately when they join EF, so we raised the number of hits you get when you register from 10 to 100. Also, now, everyone needs 5,000 karma hits before your Karma counts on other members plus, for every 10,000 Karma Hits for non-Plats and 5,000 Karma Hits for Plats, members gain 1 point of Karmic power.

Last but not least, we are opening Karma Poker - where you will be able to play Texas Holdem with the other members of EF. I'll send you a new PM when that goes live! And I'll see you on the forums!

I'll get cranked up again. I wasn't aware of swole's protest and just got the world cup up. I'll get the NBA up,but MLB might be taking a break this evening.

There won't be much of a bookie forum for them to change.

No complaints about swole's protest here. I wasn't planning to do much betting until seeing admin's response to the protests and widespread non-renewal/cancellation threats.
 
I'm upset for everyone who actively participates in the bookie forum. I mean shit, this place was one of the main reasons a lot of people were plat. GS has no fucking idea what this place means to us, how much potential it has, and now he went and shit all over it...and us. I have no idea what his problem is, all I know is I feel like we've been punished for blowing up this forum into one of the most well run and FUN places on EF...all without a dedicated mod. I absolutely refuse to pay for plat until we see changes in this forum. As a matter of fact, I think some people here should be rewarded with all the hard work that was put into this specific forum. A good thing has been ruined.

I can and want to help. I've stayed aside as swole has handled it. I would like to have a large role in the bookie forum if that's okay with you.

I've noticed you have been eager to step up to the plate and respect the fact that you waited until the regulars slowed down to do it. Now that I'm done for quite some time feel free to host MLB and NBA daily. Work with 4everhung on the events. If I go plat again I'll be sure to work around all three of you on events.

I think we'll be alright. he's devalued karma so that's it's only use is as a currency here.
I suspect soon there will be some fine tuning to the changes so hold onto your banks and wait it out. bet conservative and hang in there. you can see I sliced the max on brazil/croatia because I can't weather the wrong end of a pile on
 
You guys are good bros. I have a terrible attitude about the changes. I purchased my plat under a certain set of rules. Now those rules have been changed...I'm not the one that violated the agreement. And it pisses me off.

Even though I'm plat again it's still your show. I might throw in an event from time to time, but the major stuff is yours until the bookie upgrades have been completed or if you need help setting up the daily slate. If ever you don't or can't host events, drop me a PM.

I cancelled my plat not that i am a major playa but hell when i joined i didn't get near the k you get now. Not only that but when you guys that have been around for awhile would hit each other it cost nothing, really unfair now, this forum is the only real fun there is here.. gotta go i broke my foot and gotta put more ice on it.ouch shit damn chair frickin luck

I had just reupped for a few months. Then a won 4 months free. When those are up I am not paying for Plat. No need. I can enjoy the remaining features I like for free.

Yeah mines paid up until Nov. I didn't get any bonus k or anything no biggee if i lose my k between now and then i'll purchase a load and hang out in the bookie forum, makin small bets that make watching what would normally be a boreing game a boreing game that i can lose k on...haha
