Measurement critiques

I took measurements using a tape measure. Which parts do you think are lagging? (Don't have a digicam or a scanner) So this is the best I could do without posting an actual pic.

Chest 40"
Chest + Deltoids: 54"
Hips 36"
Abs 37" (really gotta work on this)
Arms 15"
Forearms 12"
Calves 17"
Legs 21"
Neck 16.5"

Flame away. I should note that my bodyfat % is probably 18-24 as a male. I'm cutting down soon.

5'7, 185 lbs, 17 yrs

Flame away? At 17 years old your kicking ass. You could stand to trim the waist down a bit. That's my critique.

Thanks guys. Yeah my calves are a genetic gifts...my sisters are bigger than mine though, she probably got it from the backpacking. A personal trainer at my gym said I had great calves, but my weakest point is probably my arms. I have a friend whose calves are probably 18-22 inches...he's a biker.
I think my forearms are lagging too, but they seem impossible to grow. I'm cutting down now though, it may seem stupid at my age but it's for myself. Until I can see almost every muscle group I'll start bulking cleanly with the right caloric intake+protein. Right now my diet is subpar and I probably don't even get 1 g of protein/lb of bodyweight. I'm glad I started now though.

Impressive calves for your height. . . lucky bastard lol.

im 6'3 and walking on 18s with just under 10 inch ankles, would be wicked looking if i was 3 inches shorter though, so they just look good ( being cut and all )

anyways, nice shoulder size, i only have like a 50-51".

critique coming:

chest- needs a few inches, start benching heavier
arm size will come with the heavier compound movements

the waist will come along, nothing you can do about it but run your ass off ( as you already know )

those calves at that height are prolly sick looking, what is your ankle size? no work needed.

forearms will come, try tying a 10 pounder to a stick with about 5 feet of rope and roll it up, that and no strap deadlifts will hit ur forearms.

legs - ATF squats or atleast below parallel, box squats, front squats to hit your quads, will add some nice size, my legs used to suck till i started going deeper and heavier, then they blew out.

none of your measurements are actuallyu bad, besides your waist, so dont sweat it ( or maybe you should to help out that waist line ):D

Yeah the waist is the first thing to go, I'm gonna diet down to a six-pack, I need to find my goal BF% anyway. I'm going to lose a shitload of size but I prepared for it :), I bulked up a lot till this point despite the shitty diet. I'm a meso-endomorph size comes easily. I already have a V-taper although it's being blocked off by the handles and the pseudo-belly. I'd like bigger calves...I think they'll grow more since I don't train them that much...I think they're par but I'd like to be freakish... Actually I notice when I talk to people (while I'm shorts) they always look down.
My bench press is my weakest compound lift. I can only do 135 for 2 reps, but my squat is 205 5x5 and deadlift 180ish 5x5. They're still moving up. I probably doubled/tripled my weights since I started. Progress is progress. Thanks for the input guys you've been VERY helpful and supportive.

I used gloves for 1 month out of the 3/4 months I've been building up. Are gloves detrimental to forearm growth?
Yeah, I have sort of the stocky build, I'm told by my more...athletic friends, that the stocky build is good for fighting/weightlifting. I was never really good at sports. Nor did I have any profound interest. This is the only one I truly enjoy...I don't even know if its a sport.

i dont believe gloves will hurt your grip strength, at the very least nothing compared to straps. I only use straps for power cleans, power shrugs, and dead lifts.

You should look into playing lacrosse, not only will it melt the fat off, but at your height you will have a huge advvantage when you start getting really strong. Then again, how old are you, your lifts match some of our players ( they are weak for college, but would probably be average for high school ). Depending on where you go to college you can just walk on and have no worry about being cut, and i know no HS coaches cut players, so you will have time to develope stick skills. : Advertisement over :

lol j/k but at 5'7 yuo would be a good lax player =)
