ME Lower and events w/video's - PR's!

JOKER47

Elite Mentor
Got to play with my tire today. Lots of fun.:)

36" chain suspended GM's (wide stance - Heels 40" apart)
185x5x2
225x1
275x1
315x1
335x1 - I think this is a PR with the wider stance.

Free-Standing GM's (Moderate stance) Not sure how low I got. I will video these next time to see how close I get to parallel.
225x3
255x3
285x1
305x1 - PR
315x1 - Bigger PR

Pull-Throughs
3x10

Events - Please Right-click and "Save-As" before viewing!!

On wet grass with drizzle.:(
750lbs tire - 1 flip. What isn't in the video is the 20 mins I spent slipping all over the tire. (Wet and a little muddy.) Had to use some tacky to actually get a hold of it. Might have been able to get 1-2 more flips, but was sick and tired of it by then.:D

750lbs Tire

Farmers walk -
150lbsx80' (1 turn) - PR

150lbs Farmers

200lbsx40'x2 (No turn) - Big PR

200lbs Farmers

200lbs Farmers - 2nd run

Per feedback from B-Fold, need to work on keeping my arch on the farmers and arms hanging. Also just need more experience.:)
Narrower stance and wider grip on the tire. Will replace the tacky with gardening gloves if it's wet next time.:)

Thanks again to B-Fold for hosting these for me.:)
Comments are always appreciated.:)

good stuff man....looking AWESOME

i'm not expert but dont stop driving on that tire...you were going good then you just stopped. what i do is basically walk the tire up because its taller than me and it seems to work really good if you follow

just curious what your wife had to say about you bringing that tire into such a nice looking yard lolol

Good job all around, imagine the tire as a person, try to run right through it after it is off the ground. On the farmers you gotta look up, it will help you breathe better and actually run faster, good idea to do it on grass, save those knees

Duly noted, bro. I had stopped driving due to the slick grass I was on. Believe me, I wanted to keep driving into that SOB, but I had been sliding around a lot already.

But, I remember you telling me that at Bluegrass.:) Thanks.

Soon, I hope to move the tire to where I can use it on pavement.

Thanks man.

I hadn't noticed how much I was looking down until I watched the video's. That's a bad habit I have. I will defniately watch that now.

NWinters>:) I got just the exact weight I was lookin' for. 150-200lbs more than all the contests I have looked into. Perfect!!:)

Actually, not a word. I think she is only worried about what the neighbors can see. (Not wanting the outside of the house looking like a junk yard.) I actually don't want that either.:)

I was more worried if I couldn't flip the tire, how long it would sit on the new lawn.*LOL*

Hey Joker! Awesome PR's bro! Looking real strong. Personally Ive only done the farmer's walk in my gym around the dumbell rack with 135's, the 200's are sick! Really liked the tire flip also! Keep getting stronger

easily solved........... buy a pretty tarp, and stack everything under it.

but your looking strong big man. my only recomendation on the tire is to not just use your leg to keep the tire from falling back down, but to lift up like doing a leg raise to get the tire higher......... some times i will deadlift the tire to my leg and then do bent leg raises with the tire on my leg............ it kills your hips, but really helps in getting that tire higher.

When you get the initial deadlfit on that tire... knee it up instead of resting it on the knee. Do it all in one motion

Makes a WORLD of difference... is often, for me, the difference between getting a flip and not when I'm fatigued.

Look at the videos of Ryan Brown flipping the tire... granted, he's a monster... but he knees the tire up VERY well.
