Low dose Accutane while "On"

I've heard conflicting opinions on this matter. Some say never run Accutane and AAS at the same time, some say 20mg ED while on cycle helped dramatically with acne. Which is it, is it ok to run it at a low dose during a cycle or not? Wouldnt both at the same time be harsh on the liver?

Yes, many do run it and it works great, but it's harsh on the liver and blood tests should be done every 30 days if you elect to do this, safety is of the utmost importane when on accutane alone, and is amplified when using other harsh compounds. I would stay clear of orals at the least if you are going to take accutane while on.

yes definately. Most docs that prescribe tane will test you every 30 days to make sure it's not killing you, so if doing it outside of a doctors care, I would at least get your lipids checked often, it's a pretty cheap blood test you can sign up for on the Internet.

I was on accutane 20 mg eod , while on 9 weeks of var, test, eq, and deca... no problems at all, no acne either... until i messed up at the very end of my cycle, drank half a bottle of wine and got sider angiomas(red spots) in the back of my hands due to liver intoxication... my mystake, the red spots are gone but freaked myself out.
Run it, but be careful with orals and alcohol.

Holy shit thats what the red spots on the back of my hands are? What the hell? I got perfect test results back from my doc. These red marks show up on my hand here and there and goes away.

Good point, I forgot to add them, Accutane does not mix well with alcohol and sunlight, stay out of the sun also until you see what you can tolerate. Since oil production is slowed or stopped depending on dosage, you skin is more exposed to the sun and UV. Also buy some chapstick, and you'll be good to go.

SPider Angiomas, you can do a research on this skin- liver subject. nasty shit, but termporary tough!

My skin is more combination of oily and dry. I still go tanning once a week and im on 60 mg of accutane. I also use lotion on my face and it works out great. Not saying other people wont react differently but dont leave anywhere without chapstick. Carmex works best
