if your low carbing you should eat right before you go to bed, im not saying to gorge yourself till it's uncomfortable but your body is in a very catabolic state so you want to have something to help with its repair while your sleeping. remember, when your dieting you need to be as nice to your body as possible. something like hamgurger meat with american cheese on top is ideal and will help with muscle sparing.
when im dieting, i normally eat more. it sounds funny but it works.
its helped me spare alot of my muscle. most of my foods consist of high,high high protein al leat 50% of my calories, and fats and veggies. you cant lose. you can pretty much eat all the veggies you want.
