What a nice justice system we have in the US!!! Rapists,child molesters,muderers..etc get out with minimal time-and drug offenders get HUGE bids.It doesn't make sense for min-man sentences.The whole point of having a judge is too hand out punishment-not have their hands tied and have to hand out 5,10,15 yr bids for narcotics.Before you say what goes around comes around....thats true ,to a point. One of my friends got caught with NOTHING,no phone taps,controlled buys-just rats giving their info!! Today he got a Federal 5yr bid for WEED!!! with no prior arrests.He got it hard because he wouldn't rat out. UNREAL!! all on conspiracy. I'm not talking H here-just weed!! I know drugs are illegal,but when will the punishment fit the crime?? The war on drugs is a fucking joke!!!

True but it gives alot of people jobs. Judges, cops, correctional people, p.o.'s. They tried the same thing on alcohol, only to discover it did not work. Hopefully one day they will figure it out, as soon as Anheuser-Busch and Phillip Morris break up and end a Partnership for a Drug Free America, now that is a joke.

Me, I served 9 months on 2 years for 1/2 an elbow of weed. They got pissed because I would not turnover. I value my life and accepted my f'up. No reason to destroy another man because you f'd up. To damn bad the SOB that did it to me didn't feel the same way.

Yes, something DOES need to be done, but what can we do? Not to sound like a political advertisement, but look into joining the Libertarian Party. No, they're not a bunch of hippy stoners trying to get legal weed - they believe that adults should be able to control what goes into their own body, and that the gov't should stop wasting time/money/lives on victimless crimes. They believe strongly that people who hurt someone must be held responsible, so if the heroin junkie kills someone to get a fix, he's done (as he should be), but if drugs were de-criminalized, the odds are that most users would not have to commit crimes to get them, and with all the money saved from the drug war, there could actually be realistic drug treatment programs for people who wanted them. Personal freedom balanced with personal responsibility - check it out.

I have several friends that have got locked up over weed. It is bullshit. I also know this piece of shit that ownes a gym that drove his "buddy" to the post office to pick up a package of gear, nubain and a little valium. Well this guy is my buddy and he god FUCKED! He did not roll on his supplier so he did 1 year inside, and 3 years probation. The piece of shit gym owner walked away. You know if you are in the same car when this kind of thing goes down, everyone goes down! He just walked away. I do not know how he can live with himself. It turns out he got popped with gear (300 sust ) and a big sack of coke. Tried to roll on everyone he knew. (me included) I almost got it but god must have been watching over me. I was very lucky. This gym owner is a judge in the NPC too. Needless to say I do not compete locally anymore. My advice ....keep your business your business. Do not let anyone know and always, always watch your back.

Has anyone calculated how much the 'war on drugs' cost in a year? Think of all the extra cops, probation officers, prison guards, and bureaucrats on the dole; not to mention the cost of building new prisons and choking the court system. DARE is a joke. Since the institution of DARE youth drug use has risen. Yet taxpayers foot the bill. Even if you don't view drug use as a liberty issue it is a drain on the wallets of taxpayers

I belived in the justice system till 1 year ago ....Ok so i had a few drinks got wasted and thought it might be a good idea to go driving to the strip bar.Im 23 ,young we all make mistakes ,but i had made a mistake bigger than i had previously thought.I was driving in a town where the police are corrupt and have no respect for the law themselves.I was pulled out of my car and the 2 police officers beat me.Then to top it off they charged me with 2 count of aggravated assult against them and resisting arrest.I took the plea bargan, it was the first time i was ever in trouble so i got probation community service and about 5000 in fines.So it turns out the reason i got more wasted than i was going to was because i was taking prescription medication that interacted with the alchohol.Tranquilizers yes i was taking they had me so tranquil i did not care to put up a struggle to there assult.If i was to resist arrest the police would have used there mace bcause i was 205 with a 270 pound bench at the time .They would have not escaped inguries.In conculusion the justice system is corrupt and to anyone who thinks in cant happen to them there wrong im white and i had a nice sports car when i was pulled over by them.I was also very dressed up which i always am.OK guys im going to go finish my 6 pack of smirnoff ice : ) later Dom, p.s. sorry to hear about your friend he should have cooperated you cannot fight the system you will lose.

libertarian ideas deal with the fact that we (intellectuals) are held down, controlled, and basically run like robots because of the majority of people being too stupid to deal with things on their own. drugs kill people who abuse them. quick fix? make them illegal. the government would be nothing if they didnt have millions of sheep obeying every word they said and depending on them for every aspect of their pitiful lives. so, the government does their best to protect these fools, cause without them, the government is finished.
