that tool is a billionaire and he probably doesn't really give a shit

All the BS commercials that pole smoker ran about responsible drinking ... yeah he's still a tool.

can we say irony????

yea but not a lot of people own a beer company.

True, it is irresponsible. But I don't quite understand how ownership of a beer company would make his DUI any more of a big deal than someone who brews his own at home. It's fuggin dumb to get drunk and behind the wheel no matter who you are. He can kill a family just as easily as the next drunk.

"Coors, 59, said he had consumed a beer about 30 minutes before leaving a wedding"
"he registered a blood alcohol level of 0.073 percent"

thats almost impossible. a .08 blood alcohol level is three drinks in one hour. he must not weigh much.

The irony is that this dickweed spent millions of dollars and spoke to a national audience including the Superbowl spots about the dangers of drinking and driving.

He's required to. All alcohol companies have to do things like that.

lol, people love to point fingers. Could've happened to any one of us at any time, very few people can say they have never driven a car with a BAC >.08%.

I used to be so dumb, I've had to drive home with my head out the window with one eye close in February. Out the window to keep from puking, and one eye open to only see one lane. Christ, I was dumb in my youth.

Yeah, but you can hire an actor to talk the BS. In this case he did the PSA's himself.

What would really set this off nicely is a National Enquirer photo of him guzzling a Miller Genuine Draft.

True that. I've done it many times. I think I'm actually a better driver because I know when I've had a little too much and I bare down and concentrate much harder on the road than I normally would.

looks to me like he got some free advertising. most of his customers can relate to him now.

A man in that position shouldn't have smelled the bottle cap and gotten behind the wheel. I stand by my original assessment of him ... he's a tool!

nobody practices exactly what they preach and he is still going to sleep thinking damn it's good to be a billionaire while all you can do is call him names over the internet.

He was also running for the U.S. Senate at the time. Spent a bundle of his own cash and lost narrowly.

almost impossible but still possible. drink on an empty stomach while slightly dehydrated and at about the 30 minute mark, youll get a massive blood ethanol spike.

of course under normal circumstances, at a wedding youre going to eat, so of course, the guy is likely full of crap...unless the breathalyser that was used on him was improperly calibrated or erronous - and they often are - in which case, sucks to be him

I don't think he's gonna try to appeal the decision. He pretty much admitted he fucked up.

thge laws are not suppose d to be for shit like this. at his worst he blew a .08, so what the fuck who cares.....

fucking MAAD are the beer nazis

you people who are hating on him, please, STFU

you can be over the limit in any weird circumstance at any time

hate on the people drivng around @ .3 and shit, .08-.16 is where we ALL ARE EVERY NIGHT

you would have thought a guy like that would have a driver at all times... nice to know millionaires are human and fuck up just like the rest of us though.

maybe it's just me, but i never like to see anyone get fucked up in the legal system.

he'll prolly get a damn good lawyer and get a 30 day suspension. As much as the judge may hate him for being rich and a beer company exec, he also can't punish him ofr that either.

the average person in cali would get a $8000 fien and 30 day suspension. Since the fine means squat to him, the judge may order a lengthier suspension and/or comm. service. Lucky he didn't get it in Kalifornia.

I don't think the legal ramifications will be nearly as severe as the damage to his reputation.

He'll always be known now as the beer mogul who got busted.

fuckin piece of shit cops, i got pulled over once because i didn't make a complete stop when i made a right when it was red. ok, so i was going .5 mph when i made the right. newsflash, i can tell if the coast is clear at .5 mph. the high school dropout says to me, "you came to a rolling stop and not a complete stop." for those of us who actually graduated high school can actually determine if it's safe to proceed when crawling at a snails pace. i know the real reason was because he was bored and had to make himself feel useful.
