Re: how long

did it take for you to start loosing? I have been on a few days and I do not even feel anything? Just full from eating so much (bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, etc).

I will stop the cardio and give it 3 more weeks. If I do not see a change, I will stop it and maybe try low carbs, low fat high protein instead...

Later

Give it a couple weeks, then weigh in.
Try some walnuts for more fat (not to mention variety!).
1oz. of walnuts has 3g carbs, but they're all fiber, so they don't count, but they also have 20g of fat! Pepperoni helps too.
If you don't lose any in 2wks, start adding a little cardio.

I love CKD, even if it's all water, it just makes me feel good and try harder.

If you're using the CKD worksheet, you have to use your CURRENT bodyweight. He already takes into account the calorie deficit when it calculates your daily requirements.

The difference between 216 and 200 is around 200 cals per day. I am sure I pick that up in miscalculations. I mean, at the very least, it's impossible to get a level tablespoon of ranch dressing. All of mine would be considered heaping.

Plus, over the last 6 months, I have discovered my genetics favor weight gain, I must keep cals a little lower then norm to get good results.

Good point.

I think his worksheet centers very much around maintenence level of cals, and then tapering down from there to keep the metabolism going. If you're constantly below maintenence, wouldn't that have an adverse effect on your metabolism?

But like you said, it's only ~200 cals and I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes.

Had a good carb up weekend, did real good yesterday with high fat intake.

I do feel a little run down and sleepy. I took a flexril last night, so I don' t want to blame it on the diet just yet.
