what are some little things you guys do that you feel enhances your training? Whether it be stretching, warmups, anything unconventional that you guys feel has positively effected your training.
warm up my shoulders priors to heavy benching with shoulder dislocators with a weightless stick and light laterals, front raises, rotator cuffs and shoulder presses usually with just 5lb DB's
Well I do what I'm doing right now, just sitting here at the gym on their wifi network and passing some time before I go change. I just got off work and I need to wind down for a few minutes and start visualizing the weight I want to lift.
For activities not pre and post lift, getting a massage has done wonders for my body. I'm not talking about getting your girlfriend to rub your back, but going to a certified place and getting a Swedish massage. You don't realize how chronically tense your body is until you go. Of course, I found a place with good looking girls so that never hurts either.
