Light reps and cardio for lean mass?

ROMAN

I just came off an 8 week cycle of some heavy stuff. I put on about 15lbs and its all muscle. I am going to be off cycle for about 3 months or so. With that said, I want to lower my body fat and tone up a lot. Should I through in some cardio training and turn my reps up to about 12-15 reps or 8-12 reps? Right now I only go as high as 8 reps and as low as 2 reps for mass. Change that or what? I want to keep some of my gains, but lower body fat is a must. Plsease advise. Also, diet would be included, mid level calories and junk free foods.

Thanks

Keep lifting heavy. You don't change your workout to bulk or cut. Losing bf is a matter of a clean diet and the amount of cardio you do.

last thing you would want to do after a cycle is start to cut or lose weight. You want to maintain that weight for at least a couple of weeks. Your intensity in the gym should be turned down a notch if you were lifting balls out before while on. Now it's a matter of stimulating the muscle to keep gains not to anhilate again. I would still work out intensely, don't get me wrong, but just not as intense by going all out. Make sure your calories are still high, and minimize cardio. Try to hold on to that weight not lose fat/muscle you worked so hard for all of a sudden. Right now your body wants to revert back to its original state, and it's fighting for it. Don't let that happen.

Thanks for the input guys! I guess I need to just keep it up for a little longer. Then, by the time I get ready to cut, I will be going on another mass cycle again. Afterall, I get lean when I put on muscle. So, I guess I sould just wait until I get another cycle to worry about gains, for now just maintain...

i don't change my volume much when dieting or bulking, the thing that is going to make or break reaching that goal id diet as number 1 priority, your volume on yourtraining is going to come down to you and how you feel.i would not just change everything to light rps though......just my 2 pennies......

Yes, I am on clomid ed.......Hope that helps to keep some gains? My first clomid cycle, but not my first roid cycle.

Thanks for the input

Just add in cardio but don't do the high rep thing. Without heavier weight to stimulate muscle growth your body can break down muscle for calories while dieting. If you aren't routing the protein to your muscles then it won't do you much good.
