Lifting for power and some weight loss

boxer1

New member
I need to keep within range of my weight class, but I want to keep my strength up. I have been doing (2) lifting days a week, whole body, and reps in the 2-3 range.

I need to lose an additional 10 pounds, BUT would like to keep my strenght relatively the same. Should I continue as I am, or should I just abadon the weights for the time being???

Already got that stuff guys----I was talking about the "lifting" part of the equation......I am worried that I may pack on some muscle that will bump me outta my class with the routine I am on now....

Here's what I need:

I walk around at 207+/- currently.......

I need to be able to make a 195 pound class, so I figured on walking around at 200 or so. but I want to maintain my current strength......
