Lifting And Cardio While On??

I will be increasing my cardio as soon as I go on in a couple weeks. Time does not allow me to do cardio first thing in the morning, so I either have to do it before or after I lift. I have always done the cardio before weight training but I was reading an article stating that its best done after lifting. Hmmm.

Do A short warm up then longer at end of work out. Or just come back later in the day and do it.

the point of doing it in the morning is brcause your glycogen stores are low so you burn more fat for energy after you lift your stores are low also so it would make sence if you are trying to loos fat to do cardio after you lift

So dies this apply when on a Atkins or ckd sp? type diet?

I try really hard to do my cardio on my off days or at least do lifting pm and cardio am. I have heard some say that doing 20 min or more of cardio just before or just after lifting can defeat the benifits of lifting. Maybe someone can explaine this better than I.

Do a 10-15 minute warmup prior to lifting to get the blood pumping. This actually allows me to put in a much more intense workout session. After lifting hit 30-45 minutes 2-3 days a week. At least this method works for me.
