the week is over, so lets talk about it... and dont tell me that there is a monday night game, cuz i could go watch high schoolers play and get the same enjoyment... even though, i will watch...

trent dilfer deserves to play, but holmgren is gonna go with matt cuz he paid him the big bucks... dilfer looks good, makes you wonder if he actually is capable...

the giants handed the rams a beating... just like the eagles did... hey saints, if you want to beat them, blitz, hit warner... you will win... TWICE!!! rams are beatable

hell, nobody is standout great this year... should be fun in january.

titans looked better on o, but gave the bucs too many second chances...

afc central is a jumbled mess... ANYONE, even cleveland or cinci has a chance at it.. that division became competive afterthe offseason and lewis' injury..

the eagles and giants both have as good a shot as anyone at the title... next mondays game will be a good one.

vikings suck :)
lions suck worse :)

and latimer is somewhere beating off yelling out urlacher's name... bears have a chance???

who wants to bitch about ricky williams now and say duece should get a chance? i thought not...

Favre dismantled the Ravens almost single handedly. If he
plays like that all year and the Pack get homefield, look out
they may be going to the French Quarter in January (or this
year, February)...He's getting big Bubba Franks in the mix and
we all know how much Favre loves the big TE.

The Giants looked pretty good, but remember, they still lost
the game (which is important for me, as a G fan). Holding
the Rams to 15 points is something that could be considered
a moral victory but I ain't seeing it like that...

Peyton Manning is seemingly building a reputation of losing
big games, dating back to his days in Tennessee (no national
titles--year after he leaves Tee Martin wins it). The Raiders
are good and Jon Gruden's scowling both amuses me and yet
reminds me of a six-year old who's toys have just been taken
away.

Terrell Owens is starting to back up his mouth and Jeff Garcia
is finally getting his just due. Niners defense is about 1000%
better this year than last, and my god, but Garrison Hearst is
back. Look out for them.

As to Dilfer, maybe he should start...but what happens with
Seattle's RB situation? Shaun Alexander had another HUGE
game...and when Ricky Watters returns, who gets the nod?

I'm a Browns fan, I doubt they'll make a serious run. A .500 season would be a nice improvement from last year though.

I thought the Ravens were good, but then they got drubbed by the Packers. All of the sudden the Packers are a front runner in the NFC.

The Titans are too up and down. Alot of people had them going to the Super Bowl. It's still possible, they just need to get back to old form. They won yesterday, but the first few games, they looked wretched. Eddie George is not looking impressive at all. He's overrated IMO.

Rams did look like shit, but that proves how good they are. They CAN look like shit and still beat some of the best teams in the NFL.

I think the Packers and Titans are the biggest surprises for me this year. The Titans will improve, but how much and will it be in time? I like seeing Chicago winning again and I hope they can hold up. I wouldn not be surprised, however, to see them fade down the stretch. The same goes for my Steelers. They're pretty good, but they don't have a passing game. The Ravens should hold up over the long haul and win the division. This will be an interesting year which, of course, makes the entire league much more fun to watch!

I hope they'll give alexander the nod, he's goint to be their man next year since watters will be a free agent at the end of this season. One thing we'll have to see is if alexander will be quite as effective if Dilfer isn't the QB. While Dilfer isn't a farve, he makes defenses play honest.

The giants can take a lot of positives away from the rams game. They should have won.

Green bay is looking real strong, Farve is playing very well, and ahman green is a stud even if the ravens shut him down yesterday.
