Let me start by saying I'm just a shorty and just curious...
Seems like I hear a lot of people cite their height as a hindrance in weight lifting...greater ROM, greater lb/sq. in. load on their muscles...and so on.
But my bro-in-law was making reference to his "deep" squats...parallel, by his own description. Now, the dude's 6'9" and I have respect for the challenges, as well as I am able to at 5'3", but does that really redefine the exercise for the tall person? A parallel squat is a parallel squat, at any height, right? Guess I'm just looking for better understanding of how the mechanics differ. What do you other tall folks do?
