I still have like 60-70 of his cards; almost every one from '89-'93. I pulled his rookie from a pack of Upper Deck when I was 9 years old, making my childhood way more awesomer than yours.

Man, I think this means I'm getting old...

i wish he would have just played 1 more game before calling it quits. the mariners suck, so inserting his .184 average in the lineup one more time wouldn't make any difference.


i also have tons of his rookie cards as well as an auto baseball. i remember when he was predicted to smash Aaron's HR record..injuries stopped that, but 630 is still a shit ton of bombs. first ballot HOFer for sure.

When I played baseball he was DEF my fave. I have all types of his cards, including limited edition "Black Gold" cards and some of his "metal" cards. His swing is probably THE best all time, as far as looks go. Full extension, full rotation all the way back till the bat hit the ground basically, loved it!

Never stamps. Coin collecting runs in the family, but I've never had the capital to really dive into it.
