Leg/Glute Day

Hey! I just have a quick question: today was my leg/glute day, and I switched it up and did squats first (before deadlifts, calves, etc). Is this a bad idea? Someone mentioned that I should be doing squats last... I just want to make sure I get it right! :p
 
hi Emily, i also do squats first & I put deadlifts on back day. I dont want to wipe out my CNS putting those two heavy sets on the same day.

I also do deadlifts last on back day. After deads I usually have nothing left. Warmup with leg extensions then squats first on leg day.

I also do squats first. Don't think I'd be able to squat if I did them last.
I also do leg press & extensions on this day.
 
Thanks for all of the advice! I definitely had more energy doing squats first, so I'm going to keep it that way! :D

I will probably move my deadlifts too (I'm in the middle of changing my program up, so things are all over the place!). I was definitely struggling yesterday...maybe moving it to my back day would be better! Thanks again!
