Well..
quite an interesting topic, as many gurus have diferent opinions on this one.
Some say 2lb per week is absolute MAX as after this essential muscle is stripped. Some say 3lb a week is easily attained with a good eating plan and frequent exercise and then you have the crowd which say possibilities are endless the more effort you put in the more fat you take out.

So what do you think?

Personally i think 2-4lb is sufficient and healthy. HOWEVER, in the next few weeks i will endeavour to cross the line and go for 4+

Not that I'd recommend it but I remember about 5 years ago someone on a different board saying he went from about 256 to 239 in 10 days on DNP & T3. So the limit is easily higher than 2 lbs a week. Genetics also plays a role because I remember reading a study on underfeeding where a bunch of women were fed about 450 calories a day for a month. One woman lost about 1 lb a day and it was all fat, another only lost about 12 pounds and about 5-6 was muscle. So there is no universal answer.

I didn't read the 'healthy' part. My mistake.

I did a calorie cycling for 6 days, where i ate 500 cals for 2 days, then 3000 for the third day, and a week after finishing this, i went from 183 to 176, and all my lifts remained the same. I'm sure i lose some muscle, but all my strength remained... interesting... It's just too hard to work and do this type of diet cause on by the end of day two with only 500 cals, you're havin trouble gettin stuff done.

how many meals did you eat though.. and im guessing those 500 calorie days where not on lifting days?

Thinking about a similiar split..

Depends on what "stage" you are in in your fat burning. If plenty of fat to shed, then I believe more can indeed be shed.

On the other side, the leaner you become, the harder it is to shed fat, thus it will slow dramatically.

Then there is the factor of genetics, but that is a whole other thread. ;)

Clean diet/cardio = 1-2lb

Clenbuterol/ephedrine stack = 3-4lb (stacked with GH probably more)

DNP = 8lb

From experience.

good god man.. 8lbs!?!

sounds like a short life span is the price to pay for that kind of physiological stress..

no wonder DNP scared the crap outta me: fast fixes in life IN GENERAL just sound like a bad call....

This question is a bit subjective. As I have worked with many clients whom had average ranging results at about 1-2lbs. per week.

The realistic number is based on your caloric intake and energy output. Think of it this way:

200lbs. male
BMR = 200x12= 2400cal / day
5% deficit = 120 cal/ day
Cardio/TR = 260 cal /day (do not believe the caloric output the machine tells you)
Subtotal for output: 380 cal/day
x 6 days = 2280 calories per week
(7th day is reserved for a refeed)

1lb. of fat = 4000 calories
Therefore, you would be burning about 1/2lb. of bodyfat per week. Of course, this is based on caloric manipulation and cr/tr levels.

Realistically, with a basic CKD / BodyOpus, I could have someone shedding about 1-2lbs. of bodyfat per week while gaining 0.15-0.25lbs. +/- of muscle.
