I haven't seen any evidence stating that A/S interfere with optic function...Clomid has been shown to cause some optic disruption in some users though....
I just had the lasik surgery done myself. It's the best money I've ever spent !! I went from 20/400 vision to 20/15. On to your question, I would be honest with your eye surgeon. They are going to adjust your eyes to your current prescription. If AS affects your vision in anyway, once the affects are gone your surgical results will be changed. You only have one pair of eyes so you need to make sure.
Before you go ahead with the surgery, you should try to catch a show that has been running on Discovery Channel the past few months. It was on last night. Cosmetic Surgery Gone Wrong.
I WAS thinking about getting my eyes fixed, I think that I will wait a few years now, at least until it is perfected a little more.
Plus I read where in a few years they expect that they will be able to offer better then 20/20 vision.
From what I've read. Steriods should not be taken when you have the Lasik procedure done. They can prevent proper healing. I am waiting to finish my cycle before I get the procedure.
If you have a disease (e.g. lupus, rheumatoid arthritis) or are on medications that may affect wound healing. Certain conditions, such as autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiency states, and some medications, such as retinoic acid and steroids, may prevent proper healing after a procedure.
Dont listen to anyone, until you go to this site and research yourself.
