sometimes towards the end of my squat sets i feel my knees coming togeather. i use a slitly wider then shoulderwidth stance, and my knees stay further apart most of the time but when i get tired they come together.

would this be bad for my knees once i get up to heavyer weight? does anyone know what i have to work on to prevent this?

You need to be strengthening your hips...a lot. It is NOT safe at all...

You could also put 95-135 on the bar and start working some FULL squats...or speed pulls (sumo may help too).

some people wrap their knees w/ bands to strengthen them , the hips that is. It is imperative that they strengthen

thanks for the info.
as for doing "FULL squats" i do go well below parrellel, and i am sure that my form is perfect other than my knees moving around, so i guess i need to try some sumo deads.

once again thanks, i knew sombody here would know.

My knees use to go in when i got tired. But i think doing a lot of hip adduction/abduction helped a lot. My knees are a much more stable. But that may have been just because i started to pay more attention to them.
