Knee pain from stationary bike

I did cardio saturday: half hour on the stationary bike and then half hour on the treadmill [fast walk]. When getting up from the bike, i noticed a pain sorta just below and outward from my left patella. It almost feels like its coming from the patella-tendon, but maybe just left [outward] from it.

This is not that first time this has happened from biking. My chiro wasn't sure what to tell me last time because i couldnt be very specific about where it hurt, but now the pain is still here the next day so i can really think about where it comes from.

Anyone every get anything like this and have any ideas?

just going to toss some things out there.

1. did you warm up first, make sure you warm up first.

2. was the seat high enough? most people don't put the seat as high as they should. make sure it's high enough that your legs are about 15 degrees when they are at the far bottom of the stroke

3. were you pedaling fast enough? you want to do 60-100 rpm with the pedals. don't want to go too slowly as it puts more stress on the knees

g'luck

How do you warm up on the bike? Usually i use the bike or stair master to "warm up" for other stuff :) Maybe i wasn't going fast enough like you said.
