*edit* damn apparently this is fake. Weird why anyone would fake this in the first place. It seems legit that there'd still be moose that big. /edit

They call him "Sir"

By the length of his beard and the grey legs, I figure he must be over 10 years old. He looks to be well over 8 feet at the top of the shoulder hump, and with his head up the height to the top of his antler must be about 12 feet .This guy is king of the forest, no bear or pack of wolves would dare come after him when he has this rack......Considering that a dirt road can fit 1 1/2 cars across ... this fellow is HUGE...THIS IS ONE BIG BOY!

THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN IN ELLIOT LAKE (Elliot Lake is near Sault Ste. Marie. MI in Michigan 's Upper Peninsula). Yes it is a regular size dirt road.

Impressive. I've seen my fair share of bulls up close and personal in WY and AK...Those sumbitches can indeed get....BIG.

I hate to ruin the thread, bro, but that's photoshopped
It's entirely possible as I've never seen one that huge, but I have seen some damn big bulls. I'd rather face down a black bear than a full grown adult bull moose. Actually the one animal that I actually backed down and away from was a Roosevelt Elk Bull that was rutting when I was 15. The lowering of the antlers and the scraping the hooves gave me the incentive to make my departure. **giggle**

I can imagine. The whitetail deer down here can be super aggressive during the rut.

When I was younger, around 15 I was walking through our land hunting for prairie chickens with the .22, when in the distance I heard a moose call out in the distance. I turned in the direction of the noise. Then my entire body rumbled as if another one called out from over my head. I turned around and the biggest god damn Moose I've ever seen was no more than 20ft away from me. He started showing aggression towards me, as I was walking away slowly to get the fuck out of there. He then charged at me taking out small trees along the way.

I started running and as he got closer to me I turned quickly and fired my .22, the sound must of been enough to scare him and he stopped and started to run away. But I would of been fucking dead if he would of caught up to me. I wouldn't of even been able to climb a tree because he was so big it wouldn't of mattered anyway.

Those things are nothing to fool around with!

If I were King of the Forest,
Not queen, not duke, not prince.
My regal robes of the forest,
would be satin, not cotton, not chintz.
I'd command each thing,
be it fish or fowl.
With a woof and a woof and a royal growl - woof.
As I'd click my heel,
all the trees would kneel.
And the mountains bow and the bulls kowtow.
And the sparrow would take wing - If I - If I - were King!
Each rabbit would show respect to me.
The chipmunks genuflect to me.
Though my tail would lash,
I would show compash
For every underling! If I - If I - were King! Just King!
