Killing Carb Cravings

What do u guys do to kill of the carb cravings?

Last night i had a really hardcore craving for some carbs and succumbed by having a bowl of cheerios

Normaly i drink LOADS of sugar free squash or Coffee/tea but yesterday I just couldnt help myself. Anyway any tips and ideas out there?

yeah my man.. i hear you.

i just pounded a whole bar of chocolate!

fiber one cereal is good if you do have cereal - plus they have low carb cereals at health food stores that help when you absolutley have to have cereal. Atkins has cereal that is fat free, one carb - one cup is only 100 calories and it has alot of protein - I cant remember how much.

As for the chocolate.........they have many low carb chocolate options.

i think the best way to fight carb cravings is to just eat carbs!

dont pig out or anything, but eat the carbs that your body demands. but make sure to do so only when you absolutely must.

satch sounds like a good idea actually, just eat healthy carbs, say a bowl of oatmeal.. i think it would keep u from going insane and bingeing huh?

yep!

i try to give my body what it wants.
if i'm tired, for example, and dont feel like i have enough for a good workout, i simply take the day off.

if i really crave somthing, i eat it.

do not see it as loss of control. you MUST pay attention to your body. but keep it in check and dont let it happen often.

Unless you are on CKD, I dont see how a small amount of complex carbs is going to be a major problem anyway.

People get fixated about dieting, remember that you need to keep your metabolism going so starving your body isnt a good plan... :)
