I just finished a week of keto diet....tried to bench today, and was weak as a kitten. Be forewarned that if you're going to run the keto, check your ego at the gym door.
If you are cutting with gear the keto diet is a waste of time. I cut on a diet of 3000K per day, 300grams of protein, 300-400 grams of high quality carbs, 30-50 grams of healthy fats. I believe that Keto diets are only usefull for individuals with obesity problems.

I tend to agree with you. I'm inbetween cycles right now and wanted to lose as much BF as possible before starting on the next cycle. I'm about 230lbs right now at 11-13% BF. The goal is to get down to 190lbs at 7-8% and then hit the next bulking cycle, which will look something like this:
