K killa in manila New member May 11, 2003 #1 i'm wondering if i want to lose fat but maintain muscle,can i be on caloric defecit just on my off days and then up my calories on training days ,say by 500 calories?will i still be loosing fat?

MrMakaveli New member May 11, 2003 #2 With a few exceptions it is generally very difficult to maintin ALL your muscle while losing fat. You will lose fat by doing what you described however, it may be at a slow rate.
