Just got done doin some chest tonight. Set a couple new PRs. Felt really good about myself. I took a look at when I just started my training journal, at the end of July, and I think I have made some impressive gains. I would like your guys' input as well. You think these are good? Do you think I should be stronger than I already am? Am I a complete pansy-ass? ALL comments welcome.

There you have it. At July 26, my bench was at 285, dead was under 300 I think, and squat at a pitiful 245. Now, Oct 7, my bench is at 315, dead at 335, and squat hopefully around 300 now. I should test it soon. (Also note, I had suffered a lower back injury, which kept me from deadlifting or squatting heavily for up to 2 months in there). Anyway, sorry for the long ass post. Remember, EVERYTHING is welcome. Praise is greatly appreciated. Criticism is just as welcome. If you even wanna call me a jerkoff or something, go ahead. Thanks.

great progress, what height are you at??? You gotta start working those squats those since your legs should being doing more weight than your chest by a lot.....

Yeah dude I know. My legs have always been my weak point. But I've been hitting them hard as of late. Hopefully my squat will be above my bench very soon.

Oh, I'm at 5'9.

Good progress, what has your diet been like this whole time, from the weight from month to month it doesn't look like you've been bulking but it does appear you've added some solid weight (muscle).

Well, for a three week period starting at the end of July, I threw on about 12 pounds. I ate a ton, as you can imagine. Since then, my diet has slowed down. I'm still eating a lot, but it's hard sometimes, you know? Had a few very important things going on in my life, so bulking had to take a back seat for a while. I'm hoping to start eating huge again, and wanna hit 190 as soon as I can. Then 200. Then 210.

Excellent progress and good gains in bodyweight. Routine looks simple, compound, and heavy. However, I would certainly focus on the squats if I were you. I know this sounds crazy, but you could perform a 8 x 5 routine to shock the leg muscles into growth.

Example:

1 x 5 - 135lbs (warm up)
1 x 5 - 155lbs (warm up)
1 x 5 - 185lbs
1 x 5 - 205lbs
1 x 5 - 225lbs
1 x 5 - 255lbs
1 x 5 - 275llbs
1 x 5 - 295lbs

Note** these weights serve as an example.

Good luck!
