After nine months of intense training I have very little to show for it. Some of the members on the training discussion have convinced me its all about diet. So since Im new to the (NO FAST FOOD) world I was hoping some of you could share your health conscious recipes and cooking tips. Im used to deepfried chicken breasts doused in hooters 911 sauce with a pitcher of bud on the side. So lets see what the rest of you are eating.:beer: :beer:

oatmeal with chocolate protien powder,and some rasberries and natural pb

egg whites, and turkey bacon (microwaved)

sugar free jello (chocolate) with protien powder and skim milk.

apple with natural pb

cherrios with skim milk and choco protien powder

my big favs!!!

I like the oatmeal and chocolate protein one. sounds good.

Does anyone eat boston market or kenny rogers or is that still fast food?

toasted wheat bread with a little mayo, cheddar cheese thinly sliced, a ton of deli turkey glazed in honey, and some lettuce. For a drink, skim milk with cocoa pepples, makes good cocholate milk. This is my best meal of the day and is pretty high in protein - wouldn't recommend it while cutting though since it is pretty high in carbs.

oatmeal, pb, and choc protein crunch mentoned is yummy :p
chicken w/ 1 T Udo's, spicy mustard, 1 T lemon juice :p

Places like Boston Market & Kenny Rogers will add butter, oils, & salt to veggies & potatoes, etc... if going w/ a 'clean' diet, gotta pretty much prepare it yourself so you know what's in it.... just my 2 cents :)

replace ground beef with buffalo, tuna and balsamic vinegar salads, shrimp/chicken/tofu stirfrys w/canola oil, add salsa to like everything <in replace of condiments> ......

jessyca =P~

Well I make it a point to start my day with oatmeal with milk, and 2-3 tbsp of PB added to the bowl. I love how it tastes. I might supplement on top of that a whey shake or a venezuelan scrambled egg dish.

Those all sound real good, but doesnt it cost alot to eat like that?
