But he was "forced to turn to a life of crime" because the slanderous scummy families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were just "defaming his character". He didn't do it but nobody would hire him and he lost all his money. Then he was "forced" to write that book about how we woulda done is as if he didn't.

Just stay at home, they'll announce the verdict w or w/o you. If and it's a crime not to show up - fine. If he's guilty, the fine for not showing up may be nothing. If he's guilty - you can now flee to mexico.

It's when people get emotional and do stupid shit they wouldn't normally do. They should teach kids this shit in skools.
TONS of people have done stupid shit in an emotional state that they have cursed themselves for the rest of their lives.
This is another reason why they should be locked up. OJ proved his inability to control his anger and emotions once again - in vegas. This time, he wasn't lucky.
Hope he rots - he had the world most of us would dream of and threw it all away.

I don't agree with the whole "emotion driven to do things they wouldn't normally do" statement in this case, although in many others it most certainly does apply. There are a lot of very good, law-abiding people that often feel pushed to the point of desperate acts.... and then there are still others who regardless of how badly life fucks 'em, they take their lumps and try to move forward the best they can.
This guy had a proven pattern of escalating abuse and control, that's why she divorced him. He became beyond enraged when she began living her life again WITHOUT him....
Lotta women go through this bullshit and as in this case too (he murdered her instead of trying to fuck w/her by taking her kids as waaaaaaaaay too many men do when they chicken out of actually doing what they fantasize about on a regular basis) we see a TERRIBLE failure by the court system.

Poor women? Ron Goldman was not a poor woman and I could give a fat rat's ass about the color of anyone's skin. EVERYONE BLEEDS THE SAME WHEN YOU CUT THEIR HEAD OFF.
What OJ did was NOT out of his character. He was a rage-filled abusive piece of shit with an ever escalating pattern of violence as he lost control over his ex-wife. So get a clue.
This was no random act of passion. He didn't come home one day and find his wife in bed with another man. The crime was very cold and clearly calculated. That DONT = a crime of passion that is out of character.
I can't comment on Spector or Blake as I don't know the specifics of the case. But if they did get away with murder then I hope they are getting theirs too.
Men like OJ Simpson are why women who are in abusive situations NEVER LEAVE because once their abuser starts to lose control (as the start to pull away and gain independence) the violence and control escalates to the point where they end up killing their victims or otherwise completely destroy their lives.
This isn't something that *I* discovered Razorguns... you know, like how *you* discovered why we have wars.

And for a moment, let's suppose he was being "recycled" more than most. He was a college superstar athelete, one of the few Heisman trophy winners who turned into a professional superstar. Then he made commercials that became iconic classics in our culture (Who 40ish years old doesn't remember seeing him fly through airports in rent-a-car commercials?). Then he also participated in a movie franchise ("The Naked Gun"). Hell, my 17 year old son knows OJ only through that series of movies.
So then, on top of all that -- three generations worth of visibility. He is accused of brutally murdering his wife in a hollywood-style divorce/waiter-screwing/wife-beating scandal.
Why in the world wouldn't have this not been sensationalized?
I'm trying to think of a would-be white analogy but I can't even think of a college athletic star that became a professional athletic star and developed both TV commercial and movie franchises. Has any white guy even done that? If not, I'm calling racism!
