Judging and gyno

My friend competed at the weekend and was in a lot better shape than some of the guy that placed higher than him.. not just me but others in the crowd felt the same way.. however he does have quite noticeable gyno so I'm wondering would that impact on the judges decisions.. its not a bit of puffiness but quite noticeable lumps.

depends on the judges, the organization, the degree of how noticeable it is. many factors. Personally I think you should be docked points for having noticeable gyno no matter the organization. Not always but MOST of the time its due to obvious steroid use(sometimes it just happens) and usually a lack of cycling properly or using the correct support "supps"

"quite noticable lumps" you say? O ya hes getting marked down. And you better believe the people in the audience are noticing too. Laughing about it probably

I'm not surprised if they are laughing about it.. its about a fist sizes lump on each pec.. looks ridiculous.. had a feeling the judges would knock a few points for it being so obvious.. thanks

You'll never win any bodybuilding comp with noticeable gyno, I'm telling you that right now. It's better off to get the tissue and gland removed if you have it. Because you'll never get anywhere in a career with that shit. Getting the gland removed can be tricky, make sure he has a good surgeon, as it can take years to fill that space back in even with a good procedure

The thing is he wouldn't listen to me.. he has the mentality where he is bigger so therefore he knows best.. I'll support him at the shows but he just wouldn't listen to me if I told him.. it doesn't bother me except that he reckons he should be placed higher..
