I thought that you were just trying to get a rise out of Satch, as I think that he is a pretty big fan seeing as how his avatar is always a Satriani Pic or cover.

Joe Satriani is a genius, not a juicer. Funny stuff though.

that cycle and diet is a mockory of bodybuilding and the guy in it to, my lil sister lift more weights than that.

I think I speak for all of us when I say that I hope that someday I, too, might have the strength, size, definition, and machismo of Joe Satriani.

haha joe satch cycle good stuff. man that dude can play like none other...except for Zakk Wylde. who's got that dude's training plan lol. saw him at NGW a few years back and he was a huge viking back then and he's even bigger now. o...and he can shred penatonics in his sleep.
 
Satch rocks. I found the site to be a stupid mockery of a guitar god.....Why would someone take all that time to pick on him of all people? Not enough to do, that guy.....
 
there are hundreds of guitarists who are legitimate candidates for the top 10 guitarists list.

the names go on on... from beck to hendrix to paige, van halen, eric johnson, vai, gilbert, and on and on and on.

but even if joe's style isnt your cup of tea, one thing is for sure...

he's up there in the top 3 NO DOUBT!!

I've seen almost all those guys you mentioned Satch( besides Jimi) at one time or another & i don't think anyone can hang with him- he is phenominal. Granted he may not be the legend Jimi is or play with his feel, or as popular as EVH - but in terms of shred or ability - he pull things off that would stump either one of those guys!!! - now why someone decided to pick on him on an anabolic board...?????

he's also the most humble guy you'll ever meet.
 
seen him maybe 7 or 8 times and each time he was absolutely flawless.

his guitar skills seem to improve with eveyr cd.

his latest one (which you can see in my avatar) was produced like no other piece. the sound quality and engineering is superb.

keep in mind that he produces and co-engineers. a true genius!

i consider him the 'mozart' guitarist of the 20th-21st century.

It's a tie between Joe and Steve Vai for number one.

He does look near death in that picture though.

well, he's 51 years old and that picture looks like its a few years old. he's packed on 10 pounds since 2000. vai too for that matter.

Wasn't Joe S. Steve Vai's guitar teacher? I think I also remember reading that Satch was also Kirk Hammet (metallica)'s guitar teacher too. I've got XM radio and they play the hell out of Satch on channel 42!
 
he did indeed teach vai and hammett.

but that was a while back and its a misconception to assume that vai's skills are satriani's credit.
