I wasn't at the show, but Jay looked awesome in the gym 6 weeks out.
I'm saddened by Ronnie's 4th place. He was a great champion, and if I see him Sunday at the post Olympia photoshoot I'll go out of my way to thank him for his contributions to the sport.

I'm sure everyone is going to be clamoring with the Victor got ripped off argument, but I can see why Jay retained. It would have been different if Vic got 2nd. last year and Ronnie had gotten 3rd. He would have had a shot. But, since he was coming out of the 3rd. spot from last year they played it safe. Not to mention the fact that Victor doesn't endorse Muscletech products. Jay did look substantially better at the night show.
If Dennis Wolf brings up his calves...look the fuck out! That dude's back was dwarfing everyone on stage. His most muscular was without equal. If he keeps the small waist, he is the next multiple O winner. Dig it!

i agree w/ jay winning. vic looked sick but kinda small i thought compared to jay, ron and wolf. dex always looks sick, i guess judges always looking for more of a big guy. if i can look like any 1 of them i would want to look like dex. coleman was off and he had something going on weird w/ one of his lats and arms...he'll always be the baddest mofo of bodybuilding of all time. at his peak he was totally untouchable. congrats to him and all he has done. wolf looked sick but needs a tad more mass and needs to bring up lower back. if he can add a few pounds and bring up his lower back and legs a tad, it's all over.
i had the top 6 just like they landed but i wasn't sure if vic might take first. i believe he is definately a future mr O. look out for wolf though. huge, proportioned, sick taper and FLAT ripped belly.

I dont know bros I went back and watched the replay on Bodybuilding.com and I say Dennis Wolf is a bad mother fucker. Watch the replay when he stands next to Jay then you be the judge. We all have our favorites but after listening to 9000 people boo when Wolf took 5th rang out loud that the crowd had him in the top 3.
This is one of the few things I hate about the sport I have loved my entire life, when a guy puts his blood sweat and tears into his best and gets fucked. I watched a guy leave his trophy on the stage back in the 90s it was fucking cool. He took 2nd to the "local favorite" and he set it down hit a pose walked off and walked off! LMAO!
Next year Mr.O with be a DRAMA-FEST! I may make the 5 hour drive.lol

He was running away from Wolf in the posedown. Wolf stalked him from on end of the stage to the other and Jay couldn't keep him at bay.

I again must agree that Wolf looked on the money. A bit smaller than most of the others perhaps, but his symmetry is what it should be about along with the muscle. He was tight and dry fuckin ripped and proportioned.
And I used to be a big fan of Dexter's (still am I guess) but he's got so much oil in him he should be an italian special submarine sandwhich. Delts and traps on him just look retarded IMO.

When I saw wolf in the replay of the Mr O I was shocked. His thin waiste and the way his muscle popped off his bones.
He looked amazing .
Many people say arnold had genetics of one in a billion .
I would say wolf would be the number two.
Almost a modern day arnold, had arnold been age 28 in 2007 and trained for the style of the modern day area of bodybuilding he would prob have looked similar to wolf.
I think the era of the mass monsters is getting close to the end .
I for one am tired of seeing the quater turn bicep pose where the guys bellies pop out like a preggo ready to drop.

By age 33 I think he will be a serious force to be reckoned with on stage and might take the crown.In another 5 years most of the other guys will be getting kinda old and might not be able to handle the young blood that is eager to win.

Powerbuilder, check out the pre-judging pics on any site of comparisons. I'm not saying Wolf was bigger than Jay. But, he dwarfed Ronnie in the most muscular and was way harder than Jay! I'm not kidding, check out the pics, it was crazy. Pictures may not tell the whole story, and yes Jay is thicker, but trust me, he brought plenty to the stage. Plus, the official judging from Friday had Jay first! No way he should have been first coming out of the pre-judging!

Ronnie won 8 O's with calves that looked site injected and weird and still small for his frame. Wolf's look to be the same size as Ronnie's, but more real looking. I've never denied Wolf's excellent conditioning. But like Coleman did more than a decade ago - he'll need to pack on massive amounts of size to win the Olympia. Assuming judging standards remain as they have for the last 25 years
