i didn't leave work till 7 and had 3 teenagers at home, so i called in a pizza order.
me: "i'd like to order one large pie to be picked up."
girl: "Is your last name english?"
me: (pause) "no. it's french."
girl: "that'll be 15 minutes."
???
i get there and get to the counter.
me: "hi. i called in an order for a pizza."
boy behind the counter: "name?"
me: "stilleto"
boy: "i don't see any order. when did you call?"
me: about 15 minutes ago, but i didn't actually give the girl my name.
boy: oh. hold on.... I don't have any orders without names. I could put a pie in for you, but it'll be another 20 minutes.
me: ok. i know i called it in though.
i'm standing there and a woman walks in. she goes to the counter and says, "hi. I called in an order."
boy: "name?"
woman: "English"
Me: "excuse me. do you have any orders for 'French'?"
boy: "yup!"
i swear this just happened.
