Is using the same syringe over safe?

I have a lot of pins, but not enough syringes to go with them. Is it ok, to use the same syringe as long as I am using a new needle every time.????
 
You might get lucky but I wouldn't risk it, especially if you draw blood on aspirating.

Buy some more barrels.
 
If you dont aspirate you run far less of a risk of infection if you are forced to use the same syringe.

I personally have used the same syringe for a month at a time and have never had any problems. Im sure one abcess would scare me straight tho... :worried:
 
i use the same plunger until number rubs off! same pin too for 4 or 5 times... i just draw some alcohol after each use, shake it up, blow it out, back and forth till no alcohol...i've been doing this for years...never aspirated once. never an abcess or problem...
....i work in a pharmacuetical company too w/ endless supplies of syringes and pins, i'm stocked but this is just what i've always done.. don't know why...you're nervous, just use my alcohol method...using new syringes and pins every time, IS the right thing to do though....

And don’t reuse anything, they are disposable syringes and disposable needles,

Would you reuse an alcohol swabs?

Again study, learn and practice sterile technique before you ever inject.
 
I am very sterile with all my injections...Of course I would just buy new barrells...But, I run the chance of the lady finding them in the mail...So therefore, this is what I am doing. Trust me. I would rather be using a new one each time..

This is the stupidest thing i have ever heard........and horrible advise....do not listen to this.......pins are dirt cheap no reason for this crap!

Doesn't the pin also get Dull?? We use a similar approach in Canadian Prisons and give the inmates supplies to clean their needles. It is a harm reduction approach, certainly not a fail safe. To each his own. I could not stand a dull pin or a reused anything.

Yes.. the pins do get dull. I remember someone posting a while back showing a new pin vs. a used pin (under a microscope).. it was amazing to see how dull the used one was.

I can't stand injecting with dull pins...

Ouch!!!! I re used a pin once and it fucking hurt, so I wouldn't rcommend it. Sucks for you guys in the US. In canada you can just walk into any drugstore and purchase syringes

True. I forgot that you guys cannot buy syringes at any local pharmacy that would definately make it more likely to get in a jam and reuse. You think the US government would want people to have clean needles and reduce needle sharing and other unsafe practices not to mention the HIV. Its like not teaching your child about sex and safe sex because you don't want them doing it, neither has proven effective at reaching the desired outcome.

here in oz its harder to get the right barrels and pins. Had to go to a dozen pharmacies before I found one that would sell em. keep telling me its illegal to sell pins which is bullshit. There must be state diferences cause in Qld u can get em. The one I found said fuckem, people are gona inject either way and would prefer people use fresh equipment.

these are so cheap and easilu obtainable i would not reuse.
 
If anyone can't afford to use a new syringe and needle for each injection - you shouldn't be using AAS.

I wouldent even post this shit dude, maybe you havent have a problem...yet. But it is a disaster waiting to happen you must admit. Unfortuantly someone else might try this and have serious problems the first time!
 
Have the new pins sent to your work or a friends house, or get a PO box. They come totally descreet.

You can do it. Its worth it..
