i certainly hope not but obviously the feds know about the board and with all the negative publicity as of late (through newsweek and all the ghb shit) the fbi might deem this a place for buyers and sellers to meet and shut it down, just makes sense to me being that this is probably the biggest discussion board on steroids out there. what do you guys think??

I think just what you said - this is a discussion board. If discussion boards start going down, free speech takes a big hit.

GHB is what they were looking for and found. Talking about something (as long as it is not conspiring to do something illegal) is guaranteed by the 1st Amendment, so no worries. Plus BB/steroid discussion boards are plentiful, so no real reason to single this one out, even with the recent press.

macro is right, in the 80's they had a hard on for coke, early 90's E, and now it's shifting toward G. nobody dies from gear, no crime results from it, so there are no real headlines in it for them.

as for shutting down this site for that one reason, it will never happen. think of the bigger picture, why just shut down this site? why not the whole internet itself? think of all the illeagal shit that goes on every single day on the net? ? ?drugs, terrorism plots, child molesters, and on and on.

however, ppl better get their heads out of their asses and be very very careful on how the conduct themselves for the time being. i'm sure they are keeping tabs on us more than before. . .

i don't know if i agree with you guys, the gov't can pretty much do whatever they want and this board is under a lot of scrutiny (sp?) right now, and of course if they shut down this board more boards will arise but it will just make things that much harder, there is no board that is even close to the size of elite.

there is no possible way of shutting down the internet, that would just be ludicris. nikolai_bolkov does make a good point that they did shut down twilo for drugs, but i guess that is because they weren't paying enough $$ to the right people.
