No. It's not. Cancer victims have to get chemo therapy and all kinds of other shit. All swine flu victims have to do is drink more water, rest and shut the fuck up. Swine flu is nothing compared to cancer. While we're at it, cancer is nothing compared to aids. Fuck cancer. People with aids are more hardcore. They have to go through life knowing they fucked one too many gay guys in the ass without a condom.

But it does seem like the swine flu is the new cancer in a way. People talk about it all the time. Even brag about having had it. It's always on the news and it's almost a hip and progressive disease to have. Pretty soon they're going to come out with swine flu bracelets. Maybe even drinks will be named after it at trendy hip bars in places like New York.

i wouldn't compare it to cancer by a long shot but as for as drinking more water and resting??? 3 healthy young adults from 18-23 have died from it (respiratory) in my town in the last month. all 3 were in medical care (hospital) and lived 2-3 weeks before dying... how come it's killing young adults more than kids old people from what i read!?!?! just my luck i'll get the flu shot and then get sick and get h1n1 and bite the dust... i'm a poker man and i don't like them odds

I wouldn't worry about. Over forty people on average die from car accidents every single day in the United States.

I just read that the swine flu has killed about 5000 people world wide so far. How long has this whole "epidemic" been going on? Five thousand people is nothing. Seventeen million people die each day from old age. That's just old age alone.

It's tough trying to convince people not to be worried though. You can talk logic to them all day long, but once they get emotional about a subject it's over and their fears take over.

The swine flu is nothing. Remember sars a few years back? How many people die it kill? Fifty? Sixty? They made a HUGGGGE deal about nothing back then, and they're making a HUUUGGEE deal about nothing at the present.

Remember this. The news media makes money from bad news. Nobody likes watching good news. It's boring. Theres no drama. Bad news sells.

But as long as people think the vacine is more dangourous than the swine flue (wow, gotta love that logic) -- more kids will die, and their stupdi parents will spend the rest of their lives hating themselves for not getting their kids a freakin' flu shot cuz they thought the evil obama government is behind it.

AIDS is blown out of proportion and too much money goes to it. Cancer is a bigger killer and you can't prevent it just by not having unprotected sex or using dirty needles.
