Is it possible to take ECAs wrong?

I've used many different types of ECAs.

I don't understand why they don't work for me. Could it be possible that I am not as sensitive to them as others?

For example:

I used to use Hydroxicut w/Ephedra (before they took it off the market in Canada).

My husband would take the "recommended" dosage and feel like he could leap tall buildings in a single bound and run a marathon at the same time. He couldn't take it after 3 (or he wouldn't be able to get to sleep) and he lost a ton of weight on it.

Me on the other hand...

I have to take about 3 times the "recommended" dosage before I get any effects at all... And I never lost any weight.

What's up with that?
 
yes, it does affect people differently. I can take eca and be fine, while my sister takes one and is through the roof (not in a good way)

pleeeeeease tell me you will stop taking more than the recommended dosage...out of all the horror story "death from ephedra" things I have seen and read, the #1 reason was a heart problem due to taking more than the regular dose..
 
My favorite is Charge from Labrada. The first time I took it I charged to clean the kitchen, I was so damn hyper. But with anything it becomes less noticable as you keep taking it.

Are you taking breaks between products? 6 weeks or so?
 
How's your diet? For me, all EC really does is reduce my appetite which helps me stick to the reduction in kcals during a cutting cycle.
 
NO! Don't worry... I've haven't taken any ECA stacks for months... I don't want to waste my money on something that obviously doesn't work for me!

I've been fooling and fiddling with my diet. I try hard to eat clean during the week and I treat myself on the weekend... But then that's just something small like a dinner and desert where I can eat whatever I want. If I didn't do that, I wouldn't have anything to look forward to and I would definitely "cheat"!!

I just wish there was another option for me. I guess I'm looking for a boost at the gym and not so much the fat burning aspect... Though, that would be nice!

I know a lot of people think that they can take that stuff and just eat whatever they want... :rolleyes: I'm not one of those people. I work hard, I train hard... I'm just not seeing results. I know it's my diet. I know it is...

I'm having so many problems with it. It's so damn frustrating!! I hear one thing from one person that works and the exact opposite of that from another... I guess I just have to play around with it until I find what works for me. I know what really works for me, but I'm not willing to do that. (severe food restriction)

I have put on 10 lbs. of muscle mass in the past 6 weeks!! It's just depressing to not be able to see it under the layers of fat. :(
