Is deadlifts a part of your routine?

Nope. It doesn't matter how I do them, my back hurts like hell the next day. And not muscle soreness but my spine. I keep my back straight and the bar close to my knees like you're supposed to. Not worth the risk of injuring my back

Like squats, deads are a must for overall strength and growth, its one of the toughest and exhausting compound excersices but man you cant beat stiffs for your hams.

Peace,
WCP

If you're seriously committed to getting big and strong, then Deadlifts are a MUST!!! Take a picture of yourself now, then add them to your routine for the next 6 months. I guarantee you won't regret it and be AMAZED!!!!

Ditto.

I work out at a twinky gym now. I'm the only guy there who does deads. I'm also the only guy there with any muscle mass.

I used to train at Gold's Venice. They have the most dedicated deadlifting community there I've ever seen. All the big boys do deads... women too.

Deadlifts are a must imo I train em every week on a pyrmaid scale 12*400 6-8*440 and then 4-6*480 normally add a fourth set called a challenge set pick a weight normally around 350 and rep out as many as u can until failure(good cardio workout)
