Is anyone else missings posts??

Just noticed this morning that my total posts under my name is only 1667....I'm not terribly concerned about my post number, but I am a little curious as to why that number has dropped (by a lot), and wonder if anyone else has noticed this happened to them? Maybe it's just a punishment for making excessively long and boring technical posts with unedited abstracts LOL.

Funny that you just noticed this now - I pointed it out a couple of months ago. Arioch noticed too, because he's missing a few hundred posts.

I think they've just aligned the numbers with what was left in the database though, because way back when ... last year sometime, I did a search for your posts and they only went back as far as May 2001, if I recall correctly, which rather p'd me off - I felt cheated LOL!

I actually have no idea what the stars are for. I do know that they are advertized as one of the selling points for platinum membership. The stars are a different color, with outlines or something. Since practically everyone was complaining about something stupid at the time of the upgrade, I simply chose this as my stupid complaint, so as not to be seen as a dissident.

Now it seems as if my stars will never be fixed. This is my punishment for complaining. Just this morning Ursa Minor came by and left a pile on my front lawn that spelled out "Spellwin was here!"

If it's any consolation Arioch, I can't see anyone's stars since I always have my images turned off. It's nice that way because everyone looks the same when you can't see stars, avatars and attached images. We're all equal
