Is 8 hours of daily sleep really all that crucial?

I've been cutting lately with effective results. However, I sleep under optimal hours (6hours daily) and I am a teen. Now, I realize I should sleep more considering my age, but what about my training?
How much (in all seriuosness, from your personal exp.) does it affect your gains? Does it help you recover faster, or grow more? Or both?

For real, or are you just recycling some bullshit you read in the anabolic board > ? (if so, plz dont reply)

im really curious....please

If I'm routinely get less than 6 it kills me. Eight is great, but I usually only get about 7. I'm OK around there, but I would like more. Having a life and working 10 hours a day makes it hard sometimes. Oh well.

i normally get about 6 per night but take a couple hour nap thru the day. since i began doing this, my recovery time is much better. i can train more often, soreness goes away quickly.

peace

i know I get mad tired when i have the guts to sleep only 6 hours.
bodybuilding takes me away from school. It's my fault, as I am always obsessing with getting my meals dialed in and prepared and wow....

thank god i am obsessed;)

I get between 7-8 hrs during the week.
On the weekends, I get as much rest or sleep as I have time for. Sometimes 10 hours sat nite to sunday am..:o
